FerroTint F5100 Yellow Iron Oxide is one of our most economical yellow pigments. This pigment does not go through the extensive processing of our “Best or Better Series” pigments, but it still provides the quality needed for many applications. Designed for use in cement-based building products, F5100 is processed to eliminate costly production steps. Like all Yellow Iron Oxides, F5100, has excellent lightfastness, and chemical resistance. In normal applications it is considered a permanent pigment. While Iron Oxide Pigments are the largest volume colored pigment used in the world, Yellow Iron Oxide is the largest group of Iron Oxide Pigments. It is hard to make it through the day and not touch something colored with Yellow Iron Oxide.
