CathayPure™ yellow iron oxide Y2230F is a synthetic high purity yellow iron oxide (göethite, -ferric oxyhydroxide) developed for cosmetic, food and pharmaceutical applications. It is produced by a strictly controlled manufacturing process and this high purity material conforms to the requirements of the EU food legislation (E172, EC-Directive 231/2012) permitting its use as an additive for food contact polymers, pharmaceuticals, and cosmetics.
