CathayCoat™ YS23 Yellow Iron Oxide strikes that coveted balance between price and performance. This pigment does not go through the extensive processing of our “Best Series” pigments, but it still provides the quality needed for many applications. Like all Yellow Iron Oxides, YS23, has excellent lightfastness, and chemical resistance. In normal applications it is considered a permanent pigment. While Iron Oxide Pigments are the largest volume colored pigment used in the world, Yellow Iron Oxide is the largest group of Iron Oxide Pigments. It is hard to make it through the day and not touch something colored with Yellow Iron Oxide.
